YPD Agar is a solid medium for the maintenance and propagation of yeast in molecular microbiology procedures. Enzymatic Digest of Casein provides nitrogenous compounds, vitamins, and trace elements. Dextrose is the fermentable carbohydrate. Agar is the gelifying agent.
