Weber Scientific Cetamine Test Kit is a method for the determination of Cetamine Filming Amines (CFA) in boiler water, boiler feed water, condensate, and other systems. In acidic solutions CFA form a pink colored complete with Rose Bengale that is color stable for 1 hour. The extinction of the pink complex is measured against a blank and evaluated. The photometric determination is carried out at 560 nm or the next closest wavelength, depending on the photometer type. The reagent blank value is included in the calibration data.
