Make Environmental Surface Sampling Faster and Easier

The Weber Scientific MegaSampler and TwinSampler sampling devices are pre-moistened natural cellulose sponge systems (single- or dual- sponge) designed for effective environmental monitoring. Each sponge is pre-hydrated with 10mL of buffer and individually wrapped in a reusable sample bag.

The TwinSampler features two sponges mounted on a single handle, enabling side-by-side comparison for monitoring different pathogens such as Listeria and Salmonella, and includes a second sterile bag. The MegaSampler offers a single sponge format ideal for standard surface sampling applications.

In both designs, the sponge(s) are secured to the sampling handle using a unique mechanism that enhances sampling efficacy without the use of glue or chemicals. To use, press down firmly to sample a 12” x 12” area while following appropriate standards and regulatory guidance. Each device includes a sampling tip for hard-to-reach areas and an integrated biofilm scraping blade within the handle. Sponges are easy to remove from the handle, and all products are irradiated for sterility.
