Vee Gee Water Activity Meter

The water activity meter is designed for flexible, efficient tasting across a wide range of applications. It delivers accurate measurements within four steps and features a detachable sensor design, allowing multiple samples to be set up while a test is underway. Its portable construction makes it easy to use directly on the production line. The capacitive sensor is capable of measuring solids, powders, and liquids, while an optional electrical resistance sensor (sold separately) is available for samples with high alcohol content. The meter supports 1- to 3-point calibration using optional calibration salts and allows calibration at different levels for different sample types. Users can run either quick tests or longer stability tests on the same unit, log data directly in the meter, and transfer results to a computer. Included software for Windows 10 and 11 enables full setup of the meter, management of logged data, and saving calibration factors to be loaded onto the sensor for specific samples as needed.

Calibration Salts

It is recommended to perform water activity calibration if the measurement result of the saturated salt under the same conditions as sample measurement deviates by more than ±0.02* from the reference value.
