RevSpin Microcentrifuge Dual-Speed High-Capacity
The RevSpin Microcentrifuge Dual-Speed High-Capacity is stronger, faster, and has more than twice the capacity of competing palm-sized microcentrifuges. The RS-102 is a compact, countertop centrifuge with a 4-position switch: Off/Pulse/6,000 RPM/10,000 RPM.
The high capacity 16-position rotor receives 1.5 or 2.0 ml tubes. An oversized soft rubber base absorbs vibration and stops bench walking. The microcentrifuge also has a large, easy-to-use control knob with legible graphics indicating rpm and G-force.
A 16-place fixed angle rotor accommodates 1.5-2.0 mL tubes. Each tube well is clearly numbered to identify samples and assure balanced loading. An easy-change, washable, plastic rotor simply snaps on/off without so screws or nuts cannot be lost.
The microcentrifuge is built for years of service. Tough, impact resistant housing will not dent, rust or chip. An oversized soft rubber base absorbs vibration and reduces noise, stops 'bench-walking' and resists tipping.
A safety interlock prevents operation if the lid is not locked in place. An instant-stop function brakes rotor within two seconds if lid is opened. The product comes with a two-year warranty.
