MTC Bio HyperStretch Sealing Film
The MTC Bio HyperStretch Sealing Film is a colorless plastic/paraffin film that molds to almost any surface. It seals and adheres to an endless list of lab vessels and containers including test tubes, centrifuge tubes, petri dishes, flasks, bottles, and beakers, making HyperStretch an invaluable laboratory tool.
Made from a proprietary formula of paraffin/polyolefins, this film is latex-free and provides a strong but flexible moisture barrier that protects sensitive samples while allowing exchange of H20 vapor, O2, and CO2. This seal allows off gassing without sacrificing integrity. HyperStretch is moldable, stretchable, and sticks to itself or almost any material. It can be used at low temperatures including LN2 applications and at higher temperatures on dishes, tubes, glassware, plasticware, and as an overwrap for lids, caps, and stoppers to form an extraordinarily liquid-tight, airtight seal.
HyperStretch Steri-Sheets™ are pre-cut in 2x4 and 4x4 inch sheets, offering ideal sizes for petri dishes, flasks, plates, and a variety of other containers. Steri-Sheets are packaged sterile in resealable bags of 100 ready-to-use sheets.
