LabExact Disposable Sterile Syringe Filters
LabExact® Disposable Sterile Syringe Filters feature Luer-Lok™ and pressure fitting. They are ultrasonically bonded for reliability and the filter media type is clearly inscribed on the barrel. Excellent unit-to-unit and lot-to-lot reproducibility and consistency. The unique concentric funnel shaped barrel increases volume and decreases back pressure. Individually blister packed.
PVDF filters features stability and hydrophobic interactions similar to PTFE. Recommended especially for filtration of water-soluble oligomers and polymers, e.g. protein solutions. Can also be used for the filtration of hydrophobic substances in different organic solvents.
PES/Polyethersulfone hydrophilic has a high filtration flow rate and an inherently low affinity for proteins. Low extractables. Use for introduction of additives into tissue culture vessel. Certified for Ion Chromatography. Use for final filtration of bacteriophage and infusion solutions and tissue culture, proteins, buffer and nucleic acids filtration. Ideal for applications requiring maximum sample recovery. Use to filter hybridization solutions and probe to reduce backgrounds. Food, beverages and ultra-pure water final filtration.
Cellulose Acetate (CA) hydrophilic filtration media is nitrate-free making it suitable for groundwater & EPA ASTM’s. Use for filtration under sterile conditions or filtration and clarification of biological fluids, sterilization of media additives and serum and sample preparation of aqueous or protein-based HPLC solutions. Use for applications requiring maximum sample recovery. Designed to sterilize and remove particulates from even the most viscous proteinaceous samples. Use with a glass fiber prefilter to filter tissues culture media. Very low binding capacity for proteins.
Nylon/Polyamide is a hydrophilic material recommended for filtration of aqueous or organic/aqueous medium polar liquids. Commonly used for general laboratory filtration and filtration of HPLC and GC samples prior to injection. Suitable for filtration of aqueous and organic-aqueous polar medium liquids and dissolution sample analysis. Suitable for use with high pH samples. Since it binds proteins it is NOT suitable for protein recovery applications.
