Consists of a hinged paddle, covered with two agar surfaces (either the same or two different media), housed in clear container. Each slide has a grid incorporated for easy correlation to determine CFU’s (Colony Forming Unit). Easy to use: sample, incubate, read results.

Each HYcheck kit contains 10 slides.

3049-05 - Enterobacteriaceae - Each slide contains two tests: side 1 is Tryptic Soy Agar and side 2 is Violet Red Bile Glucose Agar.

3049-06 - Total Count - Each slide contains two tests: both sides are Plate Count Agar with TTC.

3049-16 - D/E Neutralizing - Each slide contains D/E Neutralizing Agar, a purple agar gel used for determining the efficiency of sanitization of containers, equipment and environmental surfaces after cleaning.

3049-13 - Yeast and Mold - Each slide contains two tests: side 1 is Tryptic Soy Agar designed to give a total aerobic bacterial count, and side 2 is Rose Bengal Chloramphenicol Agar, recommended for the selective isolation of yeasts and molds.
