Glass Microscope Slides
Glass Microscope Slides have ground and polished edges. They are 0.97 to 1.07mm thick for 3 x 1 inch and 75 x 25mm slides as well as 1.1 to 1.3mm for 75 x 50mm slides. They are pre-cleaned to ensure a spotless appearance. Their colorless, noncorrosive glass has beveled edges for easy handling and margin-free smears. Their pack box conveniently doubles as a slide file.
Rite-On® slides are frosted on either one or two sides of one end for marking.
Ultrafrost® slides are frosted on both sides of one end.
Bev-L-Edge® (beveled edge) glass microscope slides provide more uniform blood smears.
Fluorescent antibody slides have two etched 10 mm circles and are frosted one side of one end.
