Discontinuation Notice - CAMTU Model 4140-50

This Product Has Been Discontinued

The original CAMTU Compressed Air Microbial Test Unit 4140-50 (C01-0136) has been discontinued by the manufacturer.

It has been replaced by an updated model, available as a full kit 4540-50 (C01-0175) or just the updated housing 4540-52 (C01-0176) that offers the same reliable microbial testing with one important improvement:

• The new model is compatible with any standard 90 mm × 15 mm Petri dish (commonly referred to as 100 × 15 mm).
• Unlike the previous model, proprietary dishes are no longer required. Since the original dishes have been discontinued, customers using the new model simply provide their own standard 90 mm × 15 mm dishes.

Old CAMTU model plates are now out of stock

Old CAMTU plates, 4140-58 (C01-0143), 4140-59 (C01-0134) and 4140-60 (C01-0133) have been discontinued by the manufacturer, and the old CAMTU model 4140-50 will not accept standard petri dishes. Contact your Weber Scientific Account Manager if you have any questions about this transition.
