Eurofins dairy Mastitis Tri-Plates for Staph, Strep and Gram Negatives (SSGN) are screening methods to aid the dairy producer in identifying the prevalence of these bacteria in lactating animals.  Proper use of Mastitis Tri-plates will aid the dairy producer in taking corrective action sooner, optimizing milk quality, and aid in maintaining the health of the herd.

Description:

Quadrant I:   MacConkey agar for Gram-negative bacteria and coliforms
Quadrant II:  Used to enumerate Streptococcus species
Quadrant III: Used to enumerate Staphylococcus species
