Wheaton Glass Sample Vials
Wheaton Glass Sample Vials come in a variety of sizes and Type I clear or amber glass. Clear vials are made of low extractable borosilicate glass for superior chemical resistance and conform to USP Type I and ASTM E438 Type I, Class A light requirements. Amber vials are made from borosilicate glass that conforms to USP Type I light requirements for light transmission to protect light-sensitive products.
The sample vials come in a Lab File with partitioned trays that provide and easy way to inventory samples or store empty vials. The solid top / black phenolic caps are available with 2 types of liners: 14B rubber lined for aqueous samples or PTFE/14B rubber lined for organic samples.
Replacement caps can be purchased separately. Vials and caps are autoclavable.
