The black color contrasts with the color of most samples and reduces the chance that scoops will be accidentally left behind in the product. Long handles on the 2 oz and 4 oz scoops provide a better grip and increase the distance between the hand and the sample to reduce potential contamination. The 60 mL and 125 mL scoops have a flat bottom design for use as weigh boats. They remain upright when filled or empty and can rest on a flat surface without spilling contents.
