The PAL-BX/ACID 101 is capable of measuring both Brix and Total Acidity in a single device. The unit measures Brix by way of refractometry, and measures acidity through a sophisticated yet simple conductivity unit in the device. To measure conductivity, a weight/weight or volume/volume dilution is required.

The Kit includes a digital scale, plastic pipettes, and plastic beakers, for precise and accurate measurements.
